To enable Surround functions you need to go into Logic’s Prefernces > Advanced and tick the Surround option. Much of the same applies if you are using Logic with for ambisonic work (set up the surround system as a Quad 4 channel in Project Settings). This page attempts to outline how to use Logic for surround sound work. Its surround features are also not documented fully in its manual.
